Cool Vendor report designed to highlight vendors that are interesting, new, and innovative
BOSTON – September 24, 2018 – Lumeon, the leader in Care Pathway Management (CPM), today announced that it has been included in Gartner’s new report, Cool Vendors in Health Value Delivery. The report evaluates interesting, new and innovative vendors that “exploit health ecosystem integration and emerging technologies to help healthcare organizations deliver optimal experience and outcomes.”
In the report, Gartner analysts Mandi Bishop, Barry Runyon, Jeff Cribbs, Laura Craft and Jeff Smith note in their Key Findings that, “Consumers expect seamless, personalized and effective engagement and services that healthcare organizations can only deliver through ecosystem orchestration, a business model that diverges significantly from traditional administrator roles.” Additionally, they recommend that healthcare CIOs developing technology-enabled strategies for the next generation of healthcare “orchestrate care and administrative processes across patients’ journeys by coordinating enterprise resources and workflows using operational intelligence and real-time analytics.”
“We are thrilled to be recognized by Gartner as a Cool Vendor in Health Value Delivery,” said Robbie Hughes, Founder and CEO of Lumeon. “In our view, Gartner’s key findings and recommendations are ones that we strongly believe in and strive to deliver through our technology. Healthcare providers are just beginning to realize the value of organization-wide resource orchestration. By orchestrating care across the patient journey, providers are able to streamline care delivery while transforming patient experience.”
Lumeon’s CPM platform allows providers to go beyond the confines of the electronic health record (EHR) system and operationalize a longitudinal plan of care for every patient. In order to optimally coordinate the most appropriate care resources to each patient – and deliver better outcomes more cost-efficiently – the platform dynamically personalizes an individual patient’s care plan based on preferences, risks and the severity of his or her condition.
